About Our School
The University of Aesthetics, located in Chicago and Downers Grove, is dedicated to providing students with a well-rounded education that embodies advanced aesthetics into the regular curriculum. Students have the opportunity to participate in our programs that include advanced training in a variety of European aesthetic treatments, advanced ingredient use in products and advanced equipment use. From effleurage and gommage to chemical peels, dermabrasion and light therapy, we want students to leave here with a variety of career opportunities.

The instructors at both our Chicago and Downers Grove locations have a passion for teaching and the desire to see you achieve while also bringing a different perspective to aesthetics from their own individual experiences. We are also accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS), and a member of the American Association of Cosmetology Schools and Illinois Association of Cosmetology Schools.

Not only are you receiving an advanced education but practical experience in our student-run clinic as well. Students learn how to build clientele, use business networking skills and perform services under the direct supervision of our licensed instructors.

The curriculum offered at the University of Aesthetics differs from location to location. It is our goal as a school to prepare you to take your Illinois Esthetician License exam or Illinois Board of Cosmetology exam and begin your career as a competitive professional in the industry.
