Styletrends Barber & Hairstyling Academy is a nationally Accredited Institution. It was established with the concept of taking on a new look, new direction, new focus, and a great new future in the barber styling industry. Styletrends is an approved college by the SC Barber Board.
Our objective is to prepare our students for a rewarding future in the barber industry whether it is as a licensed barber or shop owner. We offer a challenging course to stimulate thought as well as build self-confidence in each person's individual skills. We offer a certificate of graduation in Barber-Hairstyling to each student that successfully completes our barber-hairstyling program.
Barber-Styling Program
The hairstyling program at Styletrends Barber and Hairstyling Academy will prepare you for a successful cosmetology career. The Academy was founded on a pledge to provide the highest quality education possible for each student, and they do that every day through a program that is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences.
During your time at Styletrends you will learn the science of hair and the art of styling, as well as how to run a successful business. Clipper cutting, hair trends, and chemical treatments are just some of the areas that will be taught in your classes. You'll develop an expert knowledge base and be prepared to work on both male and female clients. Proper sanitation and sterilization will also be covered, preparing you to work in a clean and safe environment. The program includes one-on-one instructor led training for each student, allowing you to practice your skills with a professional. Through written tests and performance checklists, this well-rounded program will prepare you for state licensure. It can be completed full-time or part-time, through day or evening classes that are designed to fit into your busy schedule.
