Cruise Ship Recruitment

Have you ever wanted to be a stylist on a cruise ship? Imagine working at some of the most luxurious spas, seeing the world by ocean, and combining work and play. RSH International College of Cosmetology has cruise ship recruitment on our campuses. Many of our graduates are hired right out of the program.

Hair Design Program

At RSH International College of Cosmetology, we combine theoretical and practical instruction divided into 10 individual learning units.

Our instructors teach the Pivot Point method, a highly regarded hairstyling system used throughout the world. In more than 60 countries, in 11 different languages, the Pivot Point system is the training method of choice at about 3,000 cosmetology campuses. Through this Pivot Point system, you will learn the scientific approach to:

  • Hair Sculpture
  • Perm Design
  • Hair Design
  • Color Design
  • Long Hair Design
  • Salon Prep

We utilize clinical training and a unique blend of classroom training. Our Pivot Point interactive DVD curriculum is combined with the current hairdressing curriculum standard set by the British Columbia Ministry of Labour Apprenticeship branch.

Aside from teaching you the hottest technical skills, we also emphasize business, interpersonal and computer skills. We want you to be ready for the real world.

In an effort to keep class sizes small, we limit the number of students per school to 25. This gives us a low student-to-teacher ratio of 5 to 1. Our small class size allows us to adapt to your individual learning style. It also increases the number of real clients you can practice on during training.

In addition to being a college of cosmetology, RSH offers a wide selection of hair care and styling services at discounted training rates! Students perform all work under professional instructor supervision. It's a great chance for you to get the experience and confidence you need to become a cosmetologist.

Classes begin in January, March, May, July, September and November of each year.

Financial Assistance

At RSH International College of Cosmetology, we believe that everyone deserves a chance for an education. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify in the form of the Canada Student Loan Program, Bank of Montreal Student Line of Credit, or by sponsorship through Human Resources Development Canada (H.R.D./C.E.C.).
