At Park West Barber School, we present day, evening and weekend Barbering programs to accommodate students from all walks of life - both traditional and non-traditional. Our faculty possesses relevant, real-world experience, helping to add a defining layer of depth to our school's theoretical, technical and practical expertise. Combine this competitive experience in modern day cosmetology with our 65 years of barbering tradition and that puts us among the elite in this growing industry.

The School of Barbering
Our Barbering program is a full 360-degree study into the field of barbering. At its core, the program is designed to give students a strong foundation in the history, theory and business side of the profession while understanding the practical proficiencies and necessary skills to become a successful barber. Learn to perform a multitude of services including:

• Hair cutting and styling
• Shaving
• Facials
• Chemical services

Our hands-on barber training is designed to teach each student the skills and knowledge behind the science or barbering. Upon completion of the program, each student will be eligible to take the barber examination given by the North Carolina Board of Barber Examiners to become a licensed barber.
