^Cosmetology

A well-trained cosmetologist knows that cosmetology is more than just cutting and coloring hair - it's about using creativity to design with colors, textures, styles and current trends.

At Modern Beauty Academy, we strive to develop our students' artistic talents as they are taught the foundations of hair designs in areas such as color, permanent waves, manicures, facials, makeup, manicures and pedicures. Our students have the advantage of working in a real salon environment with real clients.

We help our students discover their potential and the many opportunities you can pursue in the industry. We're confident that we prepare our students to take their state cosmetology examinations. We also assist them with job searching after they've completed their course.

Our Nail Technology program covers a wide-range of skills and knowledge to become a profession in the nail technology industry. Courses highlight tips, acrylics, manicures, pedicures and gel, as well as important topics such as laws, sanitation techniques and safety precautions.

^{Cosmetology Instructor Training}

For students interested in teaching, our cosmetology instructor training prepares licensed cosmetologists to instruct others in the foundations of a thorough cosmetology curriculum. Students are instructed in employment skills and are prepared for their state licensing examination.

Accreditation and Financial Aid

Modern Beauty Academy is approved by the U.S. Department of Education, accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences, and eligible to participate in Title IV Financial Aid programs. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Our Financial Assistant department is available to guide you through the application process for financial aid in your state.
