Our Training Programs

At Michigan College of Beauty, many opportunities await. Our certified instructors will give you the personal experience to achieve your goals. The following fields are offered with courses to begin your career:

  • Cosmetology: Learn required procedures for shampooing, cutting, styling, chemical waving, color application, facials, makeup application, manicures and pedicures.
  • Esthetics: Develop skills in analysis of skin types, study and conditions of the skin, maintenance and corrective facial treatments, facial massage techniques, product knowledge, hair removal, and basic sales and communications skills.
  • Nail Technology: Gain knowledge to clean, shape and polish fingernails and toenails; apply artificial nails, nail tips and nail wraps; and create nail art.
  • Teacher Training: Prepare yourself to teach basic cosmetology curricula in a licensed school. Learn theoretical concepts, demonstrate practical clinical procedures by assisting a licensed instructor in the classroom, and complete 130 hours of practice teaching in the classroom.
