We believe that work and play should be one and the same. At Federico Beauty Institute, we teach the technical skills you need in a state-of-the-art facility playground. We teach the world-renowned Pivot Point System which can teach you not just the "how" of beauty techniques, but also the "why." We want to encourage the artist in you to come out and create on your own. We teach our students to think, see and create like a professional.

Our four-acre campus combines a luxurious spa with theory and practical rooms, a beautifully appointed reception area, a beauty boutique, and a trendy café. We are proud to be the model campus for cosmetology and esthetics education in Northern California.

We use a variety of mediums, such as video, computers, DVDs and guest speakers to supplement the modular education system we provide. Learn from highly trained, certified professionals who take a personal interest in your success. Because we understand the beauty industry is always growing and changing, our instructors continually attend training courses to keep them - and you - up-to-date.

Cosmetology

Every client is different, and we show you how to choose what's appropriate for each individual. We'll teach you about color, cut, style and finishes and how to bring the vision in your mind into a reality of creation. Because we believe there's more to being a professional than just technical and creative skills, we also teach you the organizational, personal and customer service skills you need to really thrive.

Esthetics

In addition to the organizational, personal and customer service skills necessary to stand out as a professional, we teach you the spa treatments you need to know to succeed in the salon and spa industry. You can learn to perform facials and recommend treatment for abnormalities, as well as waxing and the use of advanced spa equipment.
