Our cosmetology training

We also provide students with the valuable opportunity to gain practical, career-ready experience in our student salon. You can perform services such as haircuts, styling, coloring treatments, manicures or waxing on clients in our student-run salon while being supervised by our licensed instructors. As a graduate of Durham Beauty Academy, you can be prepared to pursue career opportunities in spas, salons, resorts and hotels. You can also be ready to open your own salon or seek positions as a cosmetology instructor.

• Have a high school diploma, high school transcript or GED
• Proof of date of birth
• Copy of social security card

At Durham Beauty Academy, we offer financial aid to those who qualify. We participate in federal financial aid programs such as Federal Pell Grants, Federal Stafford Loans, and PLUS Loans/Parent Loans.
