Remington College
Real skills for the real world
When you learn cosmetology at Remington College, you learn by doing.
We provide training with an emphasis on teaching the skills that employers look for when hiring. You will still read textbooks and listen to the instructor. But you will also take matters into your own hands. The combination creates a more personal understanding. It's not just theory. It's also real-world application.
Learn the skills you need to be successful in your career.
All Remington College campuses are nationally accredited. Our faculties meet or exceed the standards set by various federal and state requirements.
Cosmetology Program
Flair, fashion and fun! With the cosmetology program from Remington College, you can learn cosmetology in less than a year! With a cosmetology diploma, you can be ready for an entry-level position as a cosmetologist in a beauty salon, day spa or nail salon.
The Cosmetology Program at Remington College provides training in:
• Product knowledge
• Hair styling, cutting, coloring and chemical services
• Employer and client communication
• Hair and skin care
Cosmetology courses include instruction and hands-on training in a variety of subjects. When you train at Remington College, you will receive a cosmetology education that goes beyond cutting hair. Our program teaches you everything, including manicures, pedicures, facials and wig care.
In addition to classroom training, you will have the opportunity to perform these skills on actual clients in our professional, on-campus salon.
Full-time students should complete the program in 48 weeks. Upon successful completion of the Cosmetology Program, graduates will receive a diploma in cosmetology. Cosmetology students must attend the state-required number of hours in order to apply for licensure and graduate with a diploma.
