Programs
Every student at Independence College of Cosmetology holds the keys to success. Based on the Pivot Point training system and our own experience, our programs are designed to help students unlock their potential for creativity and knowledge. Choose from a number of programs designed to meet your preferred career path:

• Cosmetology - Teaches you to perform any standard cosmetology service required in the beauty salon, with an emphasis on hair and nails
• Esthetics/Skin Care - Covers the complete basics in the scientific method of skin care
• Teacher Training - Instructs you on the technical skills of teaching cosmetology subjects, including classroom training and practice teaching

The Pivot Point method allows you to learn at the emotional, visual, analytical and manual level. Our teaching tools are interactive, providing you with the most current knowledge of art and design theory. We also incorporate practical exercises and teach communication skills.
