Cosmetology Course
At Colleen O'Hara's Beauty Academy, we are committed to your success. Our cosmetology course is designed for you to develop practical skills, theoretical knowledge and professional attitudes. You can learn the fundamentals in the following:
• Hair cutting
• Hair styling
• Manicuring
• Pedicuring
• Make up application
• Skin care
Colleen O'Hara's Beauty Academy offers students a unique approach to building a solid foundation in cosmetology. We blend classroom instruction with hands-on training so you can develop your skills and be on your way to a better future.
You spend about 300 hours of your course time devoted to technical instruction. The remaining balance of your course time is devoted to practical operations. Upon completion of our course, you should have the skills to take the California State Board licensing examination. As a licensed cosmetologist, you have many career options. You can work in a number of places, including:
