Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage

At Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage
you can earn a career which gives you personal and financial freedom, along with the satisfaction of helping others on their journey to wellness. As the world begins to embrace the benefits of holistic wellness techniques, massage therapy is experiencing impressive growth. We focus on teaching our students what they need to know to become licensed professionals with endless career opportunities open to them.
Our goal is to teach our students the medical benefits of massage therapy and prepare them to enter the health and spa professions. We promote critical-thinking skills so our students are able to understand the needs of each individual client.
In addition to massage, the 754-hour course teaches important subjects, such as anatomy and physiology, business law, CPR, and ethics. In our student clinic, students get hands-on experience, giving numerous one-hour massages. We also include training in medical massage ethics, basic business practices and styles of patient approaches.
Our graduates work in many different settings:
Day spas
Cruise ships
World-class resorts
Hospitals
Chiropractic clinics
Private massage clinics
Wellness centers
Pain management clinics
Corporations
Even out of their own homes
As a licensed massage therapist, you can decide for yourself what hours you work and when you will work them. You can work for yourself or work for someone else. You can decide how much your time and skills are worth. There is no greater satisfaction than knowing your day was spent helping to ease the pain of others. Personal and financial satisfaction can be part of your future.
