Massage Therapy Programs
Therapeutic massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasms and stress, in addition to promoting health and wellness. We have several programs that are tailored to specific needs:
• Therapeutic Massage Technician - Learn Swedish massage with an emphasis on therapeutic techniques and modalities. This 6-month program (daytime) results in a diploma.
• Comprehensive Massage Therapist - Focus on Swedish massage, as well as comprehensive massage. Target specific needs consistent with alleviating a client's complaint or condition. This is a 9-month program.
• Advanced Bodyworker A.S.T. Degree - Work with clients with various medical conditions who may benefit from ongoing massage treatments. In less than 16 months, you can be prepared for a career in the field of massage therapy, utilizing advanced bodywork modalities.
Massage Center Experience
Career Training AcademyTM offers you the experience of learning and expanding your skills by working in the Student Massage Center. At each campus, our Student Massage Center allows you to prepare for the real-life experience of running a massage business. Interact with individual clinic participants, discuss massage needs, and perform therapeutic techniques. The Student Massage Center provides a progressive learning experience.
