Cameo College of Essential Beauty

The mission of Cameo College of Essential Beauty is to provide the highest quality of education possible and supply the industry with true professionals. We offer training in cosmetology, esthetics, electrolysis, permanent cosmetics and nail technology.

The Setting

Feel just like you stepped into an upscale New York salon. From our main level, complete with a trendy client lobby and 60 high-fashion hair salon stations to our lower-level Adult Day Spa, with an 800 gallon saltwater aquarium. The upper levels offer 3 traditional classrooms, conference room and offices. A techno-amphitheater even provides a place for today's creative artists to perform.

The School

We offer a variety of services and quality education. New students may enroll in courses beginning on the first Tuesday of the month, provided that openings are available. (Permanent Cosmetics courses begin on the 4th Tuesday of the month.)

Cosmetology

Cosmetology is more than just cutting hair. Those who study this art discover that cutting, styling and coloring are tools to bring out inner beauty.

Esthetics

An esthetician should be well-versed in beautifying the skin through a variety of ways.

Nail Technology

A nail technologist studies the art of nail art and design, tips, forms, wraps, and gels. Some light massage is included as well.

Electrolysis

Electrolysis is the only recognized means of permanent hair removal. Using a fine probe and a minute amount of electrical current, the portion of the follicle responsible for hair growth is destroyed. Consistent and regular treatments are required to treat each hair.

Permanent Cosmetics

Permanent cosmetics is the solution to beauty that will never wash away. With proper care, it may hold its color for a lifetime. If desired, an occasional touch-up will enhance the effects.

Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to take the Utah State Board Exam.

The School does not guarantee employment. However, Cameo College will provide assistance with resumé completion, letter writing and making contacts with salons. Job opportunities are also posted for graduates.
